Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity
Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a eu news von der leyen specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
